Fittings are items that allow you to connect two devices together.

The purpose of a float trap is to remove air present in the piping while the installation is being filled with water. The force of the weight of the float trap acts as a lever which brings down the valve and allows air to escape.

Backflow preventers are anti-pollution devices used against the backflow of water. They prevent the risks of polluting drinking water networks.

The purpose of the strainer is to ensure the retention of particles in the pipework. The filtration is determined by the stainless steel mesh size. Regular emptying of the basket is required in order to avoid particles accumulating in the screen.

These valves are welded assembly in steel as they are often custom made. They are uni-directional and often work under low pressures.

Steam traps aim to remove the condensates without allowing the steam to escape. Condensates are expelled to maximise the thermic efficiency of the process.

Air release valves can have many functions, the main one being the discharge of pressurized air pockets during the operation. They can also allow air to escape at high speed when filled with water and let air back in at high speed in the event of the piping being drained. They are used in sewage plants like waste water treatment plants, drains, etc.
